When Net2Business® receives payment for the
initial project launch, we burn a disc
containing the source files for your records.
This is NOT common practice in the industry.
From the point of purchase, the copyright you
hold gives you the right to copy,
change or resell the website as a completed whole. (Some individual
components, such as custom programming and licensed artwork,
may not be resold separately.)
Custom Programming
When Net2Business® creates the code to make your shopping cart do something non-standard, the right to re-use that code
module in other websites remains with Net2Business®. Your website copyright does include the right to re-use and modify that
bit of custom coding inside the purchased website and for your own business. You also have the right to sell the website as a
completed whole.
Clip Art
Non-exclusive rights to use a picture or graphic inside a website can be purchased for as little as a dollar. Violating a
photograph's copyright by using a picture you did not purchase the right to use may cost as much as $4,000 per viewer.
Net2Business® asks that you not put us at risk by using "free pictures". Let us buy and document your Royalty-free Right to use
the artwork, instead.
